An impossible thing.

The Bottom Line with Douglas C. Boyd

                    An Impossible thing!

I have tried for years to figure Liberals out. Many men say you can't figure women out but I would say that Liberals are the hardest thing in the world to figure out. I just don't get them and I guess I never will.
Just like when they came in to power this year, I have never seen a bigger bunch of spineless wimps in all of my life. They seem to have been born with no backbone.
I wrote a letter in our Newspaper right after they came to power and outlined what they were going to do. Everything I said has come to pass perfectly. I'm no guru or mind reader, but once you've watched this bunch for a while, you know what is going to happen and it's all insanity and pandering to whatever political winds are blowing.
First I said that they would do nothing but start a witch hunt on President Bush and his staff. Nancy (I want to love terrorist leaders) Pelosi said they wanted to reach across the isles and work with President Bush. Yea right. It's literally been one witch hunt after another.  A total joke. If they could somehow go to the bathroom with him, I'm sure they would find fault with how he does that also.
Second, I said they would rake American's over the coals with taxes. They have it on the table folks, the biggest tax increase in our nations history. Why is it that they think they can spend your money better than you or for that matter that they deserve to spend it better than you.
Third I said they would do all they could do to further the gay rights agenda. I am a Pastor and right now their new hate crimes bill if passed and signed by the President, would tell me what I could and couldn't preach especially when it comes to homosexuality.
The only thing that I agree with some of them on and most Conservatives in office seem to want to ignore this, is that we do have a bad healthcare problem in America and guys like me (I drive a truck full time and pastor) who barely get by, check to check, can't afford health insurance. I make okay money, but not near enough to afford insurance.
My daughter and I both have to use Advair for asthma. For one months supply for the both of us it costs about $260. That's just for one month. If I apply for help with the state of Texas, I'm told I make to much money and yet I can't even get close to affording the high costs of insurance for me and my family.
Then I have to watch people who don't work like I do (don't get me wrong I know some need the programs) go down, get on Medicaid and get any and everything they want, no problem. Meanwhile, I have to watch my daughter go without the medicine she needs. It's not right and it shouldn't be this way.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally against Hillary Health Care. But something needs to be done for the middle class in this area. I'm sick of dealing with it and that is THE BOTTOM LINE!
